Uşaklılar Vakfı’nca her yılın bahar aylarında düzenlenen “Geleneksel Bahar Kahvaltısı” 04.05.2025 tarihinde İstanbul Üniversitesi Baltalimanı Sosyal Tesislerinde yapıldı. İstanbul’da yaşayan Uşaklıları bir araya getirmek amacıyla düzenlenen kahvaltıya 200 hemşehrimiz katıldı. CHP Uşak Milletvekili Dr. Ali Karaoba ve TCMB başkanı Dr. Fatih Karahan’ın onur konuğu olarak kahvaltıya katılanlar arasında; Uşaklılar Vakfı eski başkanları Kamil Çelik, Bilin Rahmi Ekiz ve Şakir Ersin Kutluay, Egebir başkanı Hüseyin Reşit Öz, Aydınlılar Vakfı başkanı Adem Dönertaş, eski başkan Mehmet Ali Çetin, Afsiad eski başkanı Kamil Ay, Karahallılar Vakfı kurucu başkanı Prof. Dr. Servet Karahan ve eşi Dr. Hatice Karahan, Karahallılar Vakfı başkanı Azmi Aysal, eski başkanlar Ahmet Bursalı ve Şeref Özyurt ile Uşaklı akademisyenler eski rektör Prof. Dr. Sıdıka Semahat Demir, babası Prof. Dr. Halit Demir, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Arıkan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Ömer Şimşek ve Prof. Dr. Remzi Gediz bulunmaktaydı. Sunuculuğunu Av. Elvan Yılmaz Baltacı’nın yaptığı kahvaltılı toplantıda vakıf başkanı Faik Kaya, Dr. Ali Karaoba ve Prof. Dr. Servet Karahan birer konuşma yaparak vakıf faaliyetleri konusunda duygu ve düşüncelerini paylaştılar. Konuşmaların ardından Uşaklılar Vakfı’na yapmış oldukları katkı ve desteklerden dolayı Faik Kaya, Dt. Serpil Çavdar, Nafiz Çavdar, Emre Yeşilçiçek, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Arıkan ve Av. Elvan Yılmaz Baltacı’ya birer plaket verildi. Öğle saatlerine kadar devam eden kahvaltıya katılan Uşaklılar sohbet dolu bir ortamda keyifli bir hafta sonu geçirdiler.
